Designer crafting a brand identity

About
Alex Tracy, PhD

A Brand and Integrated Marketing Consultant in Atlanta with a Different Approach

I partner with creators, consultants, and mission-driven organizations to build brands that are as meaningful as they are effective. My path to this work wasn't traditional, but it taught me that the foundation of all good marketing isn't a particular tactic—it's trust.

From the Pulpit to the Practice

Alex Tracy, PhD, digital marketing and PR specialist

My PhD in communication taught me the theory of connection, but my fourteen years as a pastor in the United Methodist Church taught me the reality of it. In ministry, my job was to build a community, engage an audience, and inspire action—often with little to no budget for marketing.

Driven by the need to connect with people where they were, I dove in headfirst. I oversaw visual rebranding efforts. I built many of the websites myself. I modernized our outreach to include the burgeoning world of social media. I wrote the stories that brought people together, and I crafted a 20 minute keynote address every seven days, 48 weeks a year, for 14 years. I saw firsthand how a clear, authentic message could build a thriving, resilient community. It was a masterclass in resourceful, purpose-driven communication—skills that translate directly to helping businesses like yours thrive today.

My approach is born from this experience: I work closely with you to find your true story and bring it to life through a clear brand, a user-friendly website, and an integrated marketing strategy that builds real, lasting connections.

My Guiding Principles

My work is an extension of my commitment to service. This agency is built on a foundation of core beliefs:

  • Community: I believe individuals thrive in community, and our actions should strengthen those bonds.

  • Every Voice Matters: I believe diverse perspectives are essential for creating a just and thriving world.

  • Truth-Telling: I believe honesty and transparency are the bedrock of all healthy relationships.

  • Sustainability: I believe we have a duty to promote solutions that ensure the well-being of future generations.

  • Justice: I believe in recognizing harm, seeking fairness, and working to repair it.

On a Personal Note...

When I'm not working with clients, you can usually find me competing with my wife to keep our 1,000+ day New York Times crossword streak alive (our Monday record is 2:55). My favorite album is Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue, and my favorite hobby is playing the trading card game Magic: the Gathering.
