Strategic Partnership Retainers: Nurturing Sustainable Growth
Move beyond “random acts of marketing”
You have built the foundation: a strong brand and a professional website. But a static presence does not create momentum.
It’s easy for leaders to find themselves caught in a cycle of disconnected tactics, occasionally posting on social media, sending sporadic newsletters, or running reactive ads. This is noise, not a narrative.
To win the trust of high-value clients, you do not need a checklist of tactics; you need a Movement of Thought. You need a cohesive system where every action builds upon the last, moving your audience from ambiguity to clarity, and from clarity to conviction.
The Methodology: an integrated rhetorical engine
My partnerships are not a "bucket of hours"; they are a commitment to active stewardship. We replace reactive marketing with a three-part rhetorical engine designed for sustainable, long-term growth.
1. The architecture of discovery (visibility)
We clear the path for your ideal client to find you. Before we can persuade, we must be present. We use data-driven strategies to ensure that when a potential client searches for a solution, your name appears with authority.
Strategic SEO: We do not just chase keywords; we claim digital territory. This includes technical rigor, Google Business Profile optimization, and "long-tail" content strategies that answer the specific, high-stakes questions your clients are asking.
Social Signal Stewardship: We curate a substantial presence on the platforms where your peers and clients actually gather (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram). We ensure your brand remains visible and active, signaling to the market that your practice is thriving and relevant.
Data-Driven Acceleration (PPC): We use paid search (SEM) not as a crutch, but as an accelerator. It allows us to capture existing demand immediately while gathering the data needed to refine our long-term strategy.
2. The architecture of authority (credibility)
We distinguish your voice from the noise. Once they find you, they must trust you. We translate your internal expertise into public authority, positioning you not just as a choice, but as the only logical choice.
Thought Leadership: We craft high-value articles and resources that demonstrate your depth as an expert practitioner. This is not content marketing fluff; it is substantive writing that solves problems.
Third-Party Validation: We identify and pursue industry awards and earned media opportunities. When a respected publication cites your work, it builds a level of trust that advertising simply cannot buy.
3. The architecture of trust (relationship)
We practice the "Ethic of Care" to deepen loyalty. The goal is not just a transaction; it is a relationship. We turn leads and past clients into a loyal network that generates referrals for years to come.
Digital Hospitality (Community Engagement): We move beyond "posting" to genuine interaction. We actively steward your community—whether on LinkedIn or in local Facebook groups—by engaging with comments and fostering dialogue, turning passive followers into active advocates.
Respectful Email Strategy: We reject "spammy" tactics. We deliver your best insights directly to your audience’s inbox, treating their attention with hospitality and respect.
Reputation Management: We actively steward your digital reputation, soliciting reviews from your best clients to ensure your social proof matches your actual competence.
The engagement:

It depends on your goals. There is a significant difference between that one-time SEO package and my ongoing retainers.
A one-time package is a technical setup. It's main purpose is to optimize what you currently have, such as your on-page tags and submitting a sitemap. It is then up to you to do the ongoing work of content production optimizing new pages, tracking new keywords, and making sure you don’t veer from your strategic goals with SEO.
A Digital-First Retainer, on the other hand, is that ongoing strategy. This is the real work of growing your business: publishing new content, managing ad campaigns, building your authority with PR, and proactively analyzing your data. And, perhaps most importantly, making sure they all work together in harmony.
As other agencies even admit, real results come from regularly updating your site. The retainer is our long-term partnership to do that strategic work, month after month.

No. You are not just buying a bucket of hours for me to complete a to-do list. You are investing in a proactive strategic partner. Basically, you’re getting a fractional CMO who will also execute on the strategy.
My retainer model is built on an agile philosophy. I act as your marketer-first leader, proactively analyzing your data to find the next strategic opportunity (a new landing page, an SEO gap, a new ad angle, a potential media pitch) and then implementing that solution within our bounded, agreed-upon hours.
You're paying for my 30,000-foot strategic oversight, not just my hands-on-a-keyboard time.
-
My focus is on sustainable, long-term growth, not flash-in-the-pan tricks.
The random acts of marketing you're trying to stop are what happens when you don't give a strategy time to work. Real, authoritative results (especially with SEO and content) don't appear overnight. It can take 4-6 months just for Google to fully recognize a new strategy.
The 6-month commitment is our shared commitment to each other and the plan. It ensures we have the necessary time to execute our plan, gather meaningful data, optimize, and prove the ROI. It's the only way to achieve the consistent growth you're looking for.

Yes. My Digital-First Retainers are platform-agnostic, and I have a successful history of driving results on WordPress, Shopify, and other platforms. My marketer-first strategies (SEO, PPC, Content) work on any foundation.
I prefer to build on Squarespace for a strategic reason: its efficiency. Because Squarespace handles the technical busy-work (plugins, security, updates) that plagues WordPress, 100% of our retainer time is dedicated to proactive, high-value strategy, not just keeping the lights on. It's how I deliver a higher ROI when possible.

That range reflects the a la carte and flexible nature of my retainers. Every client's needs are different.
A client who needs a focused, hyperlocal SEO strategy will have a smaller investment.
A client who wants a full-funnel system (SEO + PPC + Content + PR) will have a larger one.
This is the entire purpose of my Get Started form and our 15-minute fit call. They are designed to diagnose your specific needs so I can build a custom proposal that only includes what you need to reach your goals.

No; and no honest marketer will do so. There are simply too many variables at play. Google can change its algorithm on a whim and shift the entire SEO landscape. Meta can change its algorithm and we may have to spend a month or more re-optimizing your ad spend. The press cycle can get so full that a pitch can just get lost in the noise of crisis.
We can and should establish KPIs and show how well we are or are not meeting them at given points in time. And that is something that clients and I work on together.
